BerryDunn is seeking a Consultant to serve as a Project Lead for our client.  This is a hands-on leadership role for a long term engagement, and upon completion the position will move into other consulting projects.

BerryDunn is a national consulting an Accounting firm with brick and mortar offices in Maine, New Hampshire, Connecticut, West Virginia and Arizona.  We also offer the option for remote work.



  • Plans project activities and manage resource allocation and tasks
  • Oversees day-to-day project activities and provide support to team members
  • Acts as a liaison between the client and the project team
  • Presents findings to clients and identify opportunities for improvement
  • Researches, reviews, and analyzes a broad spectrum of policy, IT, and financial impacts to the Medicaid enterprise
  • Synthesizes complex guidance and information and summarizes relevant details for a diverse stakeholder audience
  • Responds promptly ad-hoc client requests
  • Facilitates internal and stakeholder meetings
  • Synthesizes complex guidance and information and summarizes relevant details for a diverse stakeholder audience
  • Participates in staff/team meetings and trainings
  • Frequent, clear, and consistent communication to the client, team members, and direct reports
  • Performs assigned tasks efficiently and effectively, asking questions when instructions are unclear


Requisite Qualifications/Experience

  • Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience (Master’s Degree preferred)
  • Three years of Medicaid experience
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment
  • Superior written and verbal communication skills
  • Demonstrated adaptability and organizational skills
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Demonstrated problem-solving skills, particularly in an uncertain environment
  • Ability to stay ahead of deadlines and manage competing priorities
  • Knowledge of state and federal public policy processes


While this position can be based anywhere in the United States, the most preference is given to Charleston, West Virginia candidates. Secondary preference is given to Portland Maine or  Phoenix Arizona.

Candidates must be willing to travel 50 percent of the time for future projects.
